As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol in Muncy, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist staff, patients, and visitors with helpful communication and customer service while documenting activity using a computer and/or tablet when needed. Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
Be at least 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting hazards, and notifying appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
Monitor access points and observe for unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and policy violations, documenting observations and communicating issues to site leadership.
Complete security-related reports and incident documentation, use required communication tools, and support compliance with facility rules regarding visitor management and restricted areas.
