Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your presence and attentiveness help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies or disturbances that may occur within the facility.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for any unusual conditions.
Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as required.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and verifying identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
Support emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and the client location.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with staff, patients, visitors, and emergency responders at all times.
