As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Vaccinations required for hospital setting.
Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential disturbances.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and directing individuals as needed.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related risks, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel or management.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or providing information to first responders.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations as required by site policies.
