About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Rounds in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for all visitors, patients, and staff. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Assist visitors, staff, and/or patients with directions and information as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.
Work closely with healthcare staff to support a welcoming and orderly environment.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly as part of daily responsibilities.
