About The Position
As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Rounds in Warner Robins, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and identify unusual activities.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
- Support healthcare staff, patients, and visitors with security-related needs and provide assistance during emergencies or evacuations as directed.
- Remain alert and aware of the environment to help to deter theft, disturbances, or other security-related concerns within the healthcare location.
