As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding to various situations as needed. You will be visible throughout the facility, provide exceptional customer service, and support staff and visitors with professionalism. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Applicants may be required to provide proof of vaccinations as required by the hospital.
Applicants may be required to work in or near a hospital morgue as part of their duties.
Applicants may be required to restrain individuals as part of their duties at the hospital.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, addressing the needs of patients, staff, and visitors as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential issues.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment tailored to the unique needs of a healthcare location.
