About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Escort in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This is a driving post. You will provide outstanding customer service, support hospital operations, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills and following appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support adherence to facility protocols.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences as observed during patrols.
Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general information while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed during emergencies or incidents.
