Requirements

Proof of vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and assisting with visitor management as required.
Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding people during evacuations or lockdowns, and communicating promptly with Allied Universal and location management teams.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or security-related events as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
