As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, so you may be assigned mobile patrols across the site. You will deliver customer-focused communication while supporting a caring, agile team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and/or communications location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, suspicious activity, and/or access control concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior and exterior areas, including offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and communications systems when assigned, and report irregular conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns in written and/or electronic reports, and assist with access control by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and/or directing deliveries.
