Requirements
- Hospital vaccines are required.
- Ability to work in a hospital morgue is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
- Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, disorderly conduct, and/or other unusual activity while maintaining a professional presence.
- Support healthcare operations by assisting with directions, de-escalation, and/or traffic flow during busy periods, visiting hours, or emergency situations.
