Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Lake Jackson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This unarmed role blends customer service, communication, and routine patrol responsibilities with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity in all interactions.

Requirements

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting of security-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and document security-related events, observations, and/or incidents according to site procedures.
  • Assist with traffic and pedestrian flow around the location, support staff and visitors with directions and information, and communicate with supervisors and/or local responders when needed.
