As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a positive environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

Hospital employees must be vaccinated as required by hospital policy.
Work may require entry into the hospital morgue.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to safely restrain individuals as required in a hospital environment.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location, including assisting patients, visitors, and staff as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity within the healthcare environment to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding occupants and/or liaising with first responders as needed.
Document observations, incidents, and activities clearly and accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and client-specific requirements.
