You will engage with staff, patients, and visitors to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any irregularities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report observations, incidents, and activities according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
Interact with visitors and staff to provide directions and assistance as needed, maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Collaborate with site management and emergency personnel during incidents and/or drills as required.
Remain alert to potential hazards and conditions that may require response or escalation according to site protocols.
