As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and engaging with staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing communication skills and good judgment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general inquiries as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Document observations, incidents, and activities according to company and client protocols.
Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as required during emergency situations or incidents.
