As a Security Officer - Hospital Front Desk in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and staff. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

Applicants must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Applicants must have received hospital-required vaccines.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate.
Assist with visitor management, including logging arrivals and departures in accordance with site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptive behavior.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
Document and report security-related incidents and/or unusual activity according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Support emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols.
