About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hospital Entry Control in Morristown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff in a professional manner at the front desk of the healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the facility and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and/or critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and incidents as required.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, following all protocols established for the healthcare environment.
