As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will support security-related operations by monitoring activity, coordinating officer responses, managing incoming calls, and documenting incidents with clear communication. You will help maintain a visible, professional presence through strong customer service while partnering with clinical and facilities teams. Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Receive and triage incoming calls, radio traffic, and alarms; dispatch officers and/or resources according to post orders and incident priority.
  • Monitor CCTV, access control, and other security-related systems; document observations and notify appropriate personnel of unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate communications with clinical staff and local responders as directed by post orders.
  • Complete incident reports, activity logs, and dispatch records in a timely manner; communicate shift updates and pass-down information to oncoming personnel.
