As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures, at the healthcare location.
Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or entry to restricted areas.
Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering the premises to support compliance with site-specific requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report irregularities.
Support emergency response activities as needed, working with site personnel and first responders as appropriate.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports of observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site procedures.
