As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a hotel and resort location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help prevent incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Carry out regular and random patrols of the property, including guest areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity within the location.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel and/or management.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site leadership and Allied Universal procedures.
  • Maintain a professional presence and uphold Allied Universal standards while interacting with guests, staff, and the public in a hospitality environment.
