About The Position

As a Security Officer - High Rise in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a residential location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support residents and guests with strong communication and customer service while bringing a caring, reliable approach to every interaction. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
Write clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations, and support residents with routine questions and directions in a professional manner.
