Security Officer - Full Time
About The Position
As a Security Officer - High-Rise Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site contacts while delivering a welcoming customer service experience. Requirements
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and access concerns.
- Monitor access points and authorized entry, verify credentials when required, and assist with directing visitors and deliveries according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate key information during shift turnover, and support a professional site presence while following Allied Universal standards.
