Security Officer - High-Rise Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - High-Rise Patrol in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be a visible presence across assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, observing activity, and documenting security-related incidents. You will help to deter unwanted behavior through professional interaction, clear communication, and timely reporting. Working with a caring, people-first team, you will support a reliable, agile, and innovative operation while delivering exceptional customer service to employees and visitors throughout the location.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations through the appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter, as required by post orders.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or hazards, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior.
- Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports in accordance with site requirements.
