Job Description As a Security Guard - City Hall Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control access by checking identification and/or credentials, directing visitors, and monitoring entry points in accordance with facility requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or public agency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by post.
Complete security-related logs, incident reports, and other documentation, and communicate observations and concerns to the appropriate personnel.
