As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered while patrolling the location.
Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general information while maintaining a professional presence.
Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and/or law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.
Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client-specific protocols.
