As a Security Officer - Healthcare Site - Full Time in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and patients, helping to create a welcoming environment while monitoring for security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication, support access control, and help to deter potential issues. Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk within a healthcare location.
- Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and/or visitor credentials as required.
- Assist with the check-in and check-out process for visitors and/or patients, maintaining logs as directed by site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with appropriate personnel as needed.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in the immediate area to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
- Support emergency response activities by following established protocols and providing information or assistance as directed.
