Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Site Patrol in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will provide exceptional customer service, support access control efforts, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or incidents.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons within the healthcare environment.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying identification as required.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or medical emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and first responders to provide information and assistance as necessary.
