As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to alarms and access concerns with professionalism and customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, supporting visitor management and employee badge compliance as required by site policy.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting observations, and coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
Complete detailed reports on patrols, alarms, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate updates during shift turnovers to support consistent security-related operations.
