Requirements

CPR and First Aid are preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs within the location.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to guide visitors as needed.
Work closely with healthcare staff and other personnel to address security-related issues and support a secure environment.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and security-related matters as required by site procedures.
