As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, and maintain a highly visible presence that may help to reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations using a computer or tablet when needed, communicate clearly with site teams, and provide customer service with a people-first mindset. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in, and documenting deliveries, contractors, and/or vehicles according to site requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Prepare clear written reports and maintain accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observations, escalating concerns through the appropriate channels.
