Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrols Unarmed Full-Time in Newtown Square, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, visitors, and patients.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any unusual conditions or incidents.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and patients while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Document and report security-related incidents and/or hazards according to established protocols.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site leadership to address security-related concerns as they arise.
