As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Full-Time in Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. This driving post involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining visibility, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and assist visitors as needed.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including supporting evacuation procedures and/or coordinating with first responders.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
Adhere to all company and client policies, procedures, and protocols while representing Allied Universal in a professional manner.
