As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the premises, and deliver exceptional customer service while communicating with staff and visitors. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and create a visible security-related presence.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Collaborate with staff and emergency responders as needed to support security-related operations and/or emergency response.
Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings, adapting to varying working conditions within the healthcare environment.
