As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Rounds in Memphis, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to guests and staff. You will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment by providing outstanding customer service and clear communication, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.65 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Tue 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Wed 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Thur 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Fri 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal management to support site-specific security-related needs and requirements.
Document all incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
