As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related concerns, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
• Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, corridors, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions and badge compliance, reporting suspicious or unusual activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hospital personnel and/or local emergency services as needed.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant information to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site contacts.
