As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. You will remain visible, interact with staff and visitors, and provide excellent customer service while supporting a caring culture. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Assist staff, visitors, and patients with directions and information, helping to maintain an orderly environment within the healthcare location.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and first responders as needed during emergencies or critical situations.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
