As a Security Officer - Healthcare Mobile Patrol in Stafford, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required.
  • Support staff, patients, and visitors by answering questions and providing directions within the location.
  • Document incidents and maintain accurate logs and reports as required by site policies.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment.
