As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or potential disruptions.
Document incidents and maintain detailed reports in accordance with Allied Universal policies and the requirements of the healthcare location.
Collaborate with facility staff and first responders as needed during emergency situations and/or incidents.
Assist visitors, patients, and employees with directions and information as part of customer service responsibilities.
