As a Security Officer - Healthcare Full Time Patrol in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Applicants must comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
Applicants may be required to work in hospital morgue environments.
Applicants may be required to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to situations as they arise.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information as needed, promoting a welcoming environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Support emergency response activities and assist first responders as directed during incidents within the healthcare setting.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter potential disruptions and/or security-related concerns.
