As a Security Officer - Healthcare Full Time Patrol in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Applicants must comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Applicants may be required to work in hospital morgue environments.
  • Applicants may be required to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to situations as they arise.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information as needed, promoting a welcoming environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities and assist first responders as directed during incidents within the healthcare setting.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter potential disruptions and/or security-related concerns.
