As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Must have 1 or more years of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies or disturbances on the premises.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders as needed during emergency response activities.
Remain alert and observant to changes in the environment and report any concerns or hazards to appropriate personnel.
