Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will welcome staff, patients, and visitors while supporting access control and visitor management. You will monitor entry activity, respond to alarms and/or calls for assistance, document incidents, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk of a healthcare location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, observe for unusual activity, and report concerns to designated contacts to help to deter unwanted behavior.
  • Control access by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointment information, issuing visitor credentials as directed, and directing individuals to appropriate departments.
  • Answer phones, coordinate communications with staff and responders as needed, and document incidents, requests, and observations using required reports and/or logs.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance to staff, patients, and visitors within the scope of post orders.
