As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hospital and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols.
Work collaboratively with hospital staff and/or emergency personnel as needed to support the security-related needs of the location.
Adapt to changing environments and situations within the healthcare setting, maintaining awareness of surroundings at all times.
