As a Security Officer - Healthcare Entry Monitor in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

Proof of vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
Applicants must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as required.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to those within the healthcare environment.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials as necessary for entry to restricted areas.
Support emergency response protocols, including assisting with evacuations and/or providing guidance during drills and real incidents.
Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
