As a Security Officer - Healthcare Entry Monitor in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • Proof of vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
  • Applicants must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as required.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to those within the healthcare environment.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials as necessary for entry to restricted areas.
  • Support emergency response protocols, including assisting with evacuations and/or providing guidance during drills and real incidents.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
