Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and coordinate communications for security-related incidents and activities within the healthcare location.
Dispatch security personnel to incidents, emergencies, and service calls as needed, following established protocols.
Maintain detailed logs and records of all communications, incidents, and responses.
Provide customer service by assisting staff, visitors, and/or patients with security-related concerns or information requests.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when appropriate.
Work closely with on-site security personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external emergency services as required.
