About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Patrol in Swiftwater, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities or incidents as per Allied Universal and site protocols.
Assist visitors, staff, and/or patients with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with healthcare personnel and local authorities as needed to support a secure environment.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or daily reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
