As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting all actions taken as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of the environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as necessary.
Assist with access control procedures, visitor management, and/or other security-related tasks as directed by site leadership.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
