As a Security Officer Guest Services Representative in Brooklyn Heights, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will serve as the welcoming front desk presence, assisting residents, guests, and staff with access support, visitor check-in, and clear communication. In this stationary role, you will help monitor activity, report security-related concerns, and deliver customer service with professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a residential location.
  • Monitor lobby activity, manage visitor check-in and/or access procedures, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and other front desk activity.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, provide directions and information, and support security-related communications between residents, guests, building staff, and/or responding personnel.
  • Observe cameras, alarms, and entry points from the front desk and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
