Security Officer - GSOC Secret Clearance
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Facility Rounds Security Clearance in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document activity, support access control, and deliver strong customer service and communication. This role values an active DoD Secret Clearance and teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation.
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Control access to buildings and restricted areas by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and documenting authorized visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors per site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting details, and assisting with coordination per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
- Complete security-related reports and logs, monitor alarms and cameras as assigned, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
