Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while supporting staff, patients, and visitors.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior, and/or document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Assist with de-escalation support, directional assistance, and/or other customer service needs in a busy healthcare environment while maintaining a professional presence.
