Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and assigned security-related duties at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate communication and documentation processes.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and support visitor and vehicle screening procedures in accordance with location policies.
Support emergency response activities, assist with de-escalation when appropriate, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders during security-related events.
