Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining open communication with visitors and staff. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist in maintaining order within the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to assist with access control and observe any unusual activity.
- Document and report incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and/or the public.
